Position Summary

Reporting directly to the COO, the Talent Manager will proactively manage Human Resources and the employee lifecycle within the organization. As a key role in the organization, this position requires someone who leads from the front through a strong commitment to employee experience, company culture, and policy. We require a team player with the ability to think strategically while also managing day-to-day requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to prioritize are must-haves.

The right candidate for this position is a strong relationship builder, passionate about their work, and understands how to grow a business. We need someone who will foster an environment of continuous improvement and build bridges with colleagues and peers while ensuring that the needs of both the company and each department are met.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain effective compensation, benefits, and recruiting strategies
  • Execute recruiting, hiring, and salary negotiation process
  • Develop onboarding, training, and policy materials for new and existing hires
  • Oversee and manage performance appraisal system, driving high performance
  • Oversee and manage employee benefits and leave management programs
  • Ensure legal and internal policy compliance throughout human resource management
  • Manage and resolve employee HR needs and concerns
  • Contribute to and assist in the development of company culture
  • Manage and host employee events

  • Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR) could be an additional asset
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and proof of insurance.
